Art & Craft News for January!

P6 “Me! 12 years Later” 12年後のわたし. The students used wire, wood, clay, and other materials to create a mini "set". It was fun to see what they might be doing in 12 years for their future jobs!

P5 has been busy weaving, gluing and clipping thin wood to make lampshades! They have invented some creative and unique shapes! Once the shapes dried they removed the clips! It was fun to see them all lit up!

P4 "My Hometown Kokekeshi"! P4 made traditional Japanese dolls using recycled cans and bottles, balloons, and paper mache! They learned about their hometowns in their other classes. The students then decorated them using various things or designs to showcase their own city, town or prefecture (state).
